"summer, i'll call you back soon. we have to have a talk".

so right now i am just sitting around awaiting being fired. i have gotten in trouble yet again for nothing of my fault, the fault all being my irresponsible manager's. yesterday i cut down my hours to only working mondays and wednesdays and sat with the receptionist, changing my entire schedule. but today they decided to call me in, leaving a message stating that they decided to not change my schedule until next week. i didn't even get this message because my cell phone was off. they didn't bother even calling my house. but for this, i am getting in trouble. and actually really hoping they'll fire me. i hate the two-inch cockroaches he has failed to take care of, the disrespect, the immaturity, the creepy men, the lack of money, and everything else that has to do with my place of employment.

sure, this is all a bunch of whining, but i think i'm allowed to every once in awhile.

the good sides of the day were eating grasshopper sundaes at denny's with justin this morning, rearranging furniture, screaming at the top of my lungs to girly music, and recieveing a portrait of myself from mary in the mail (finally). and i hung picture postcards on the wall. which is nice.

i want to go on some swings right now. but going alone just isn't fun. Posted at April 9, 2002 05:37 PM

Getting fired is humiliating. You should just quit if you don't want to work there. Don't give them that power, because it'll stay with you forever. Posted by at April 9, 2002 08:52 PM

you don't want to be working anywhere that has been invaded by demon cockroaches! get yo self outta there, sista'! Posted by megan at April 9, 2002 09:37 PM

Shame about your job. Maybe you should try and make living out of making 'zines. Speaking of which, when are we gonna see it? Posted by andy at April 10, 2002 01:13 AM

What's a grasshopper sundae? Presumably it doesn't contain real grasshoppers? Posted by Rathicca at April 10, 2002 09:40 PM
